LAS VEGAS—According to Naveen Jaggi, the President of Retail Advisory Services at JLL, entertainment concepts that incorporate food and beverage will continue to be a prominent trend in retail going forward. Speaking at a morning breakfast presentation during ICSC Las Vegas, he emphasized the significance of these concepts in the industry over the next decade, highlighting their scalability.
Jaggi also discussed the preferred locations for retailers and entertainment concepts, noting their desire to minimize risks. Instead of initially launching in multiple cities, they are focusing their efforts on a specific region, opening a few locations to validate the success of their concept.
In terms of consumer preferences, Jaggi emphasized the importance of providing unique experiences. Landlords strive to keep things fresh and offer these experiences to their customers, he said.
