Tesla has inked a lease for a new 927K SF warehouse at the Matrix Logistics Center in Newburgh NY, a facility that the EV vehicle maker intends to use as it regional automotive parts distribution center.

The industrial campus, built last year as a speculative project by Matrix Development Group, is located directly across from the Newburgh Mall in the NYC suburb about 70 miles north of the city in proximity to the New York State Thruway, I-84 and Route 300.

Matrix, based in Monroe Township, NJ, was given the green light last year to build two spec buildings on the site, the mega-warehouse Tesla will occupy and a 215K SF building.
