MINNEAPOLIS–Apartment searchers don't seem to mind the cold winter temperatures in Minneapolis. In fact, the City of Lakes has become something of a "hot spot" for renters looking for their next home, taking the top spot on Yardi's RentCafe ranking for the fourth consecutive month.
Traffic in March more than tripled from last year, along with a 159% increase in saved searches. The market also saw a 216% surge in page views.
The West was the overall favorite region for online apartment search traffic, according to RentCafe, claiming the most spots (13) in the top 30 rankings.
