OLYMPIC VALLEY, CA—During the final session at the GlobeSt Women of Influence Conference, tech enthusiasts and experts explored how women can leverage technology to empower their roles across various industries. The focus was on how AI is transforming sectors such as predictive analytics, property management, client acquisitions, and social engineering.
Panelist Courtney Ettus, Chief Marketing Officer at Crexi, highlighted the transformative power of technology in creating connections and enhancing liquidity in commercial real estate. She said that “In commercial real estate, it’s about understanding relationships and how things fit together, not just numbers or words.”
Emily Wood, Vice President at Revere CRE, discussed the impact of large language models like ChatGPT, noting that these tools enable deeper insights without constant human intervention. “With tools like ChatGPT, we’ve enhanced our data analysis capabilities and refined our contact ranking systems,” she explained.
For Carrie Bobb, President and SVP at hellojenny and Foundry Commercial, she pointed to the advantage of using data strategically, particularly in social media and consumer feedback analysis. “Women can excel in social media by leveraging data to connect the dots and understand consumer sentiment,” she said. “This gives us a significant edge over competitors who may not prioritize social listening.”
Moderator Melina Cordero, Founder and President at P20 Workplace, underscored the broader opportunity that technology presents for women. “Tech and data enable us to work more efficiently and effectively,” she stated, highlighting how these tools can streamline operations and drive success in traditionally male-dominated industries.
Overall, the panel said that embracing technology isn’t just about adopting new tools—it’s about using them strategically to amplify women’s impact and influence across sectors where they are traditionally underrepresented.
