The Cleveland Browns are planning a new stadium with a dome in Brook Park — and Lincoln Property Company has been selected to develop an entertainment district surrounding the venue, which is expected to generate over a billion dollars per year.

The project surrounding the stadium, sitting on 176 acres, will feature 1,100 apartments, 500,000 square feet of office, 300,000 square feet of retail, and two hotels. The mixed-use development will undergo multiple phases, with the first one set to include 575 apartments, 450 hotel rooms, 96,000 square feet of traditional retail, and 137,000 square feet of experiential retail. The plan is to deliver the first portion of the plans by 2029 — the same year the new stadium is set to be opened.

The Browns' new 67,000-seat arena will keep the same Huntington Bank Field name. Along with hosting professional NFL games, it will be able to hold events for other major sports, tournaments, and concerts throughout the year.
