Douglas Lawson, Ph.D., CIH - Dr. Lawson has over 42 years of experience in the health & safety/industrial hygiene field, including regulatory agency, industrial and consulting experience. He has significant experience in conducting health and safety compliance audits, developing and implementing health and safety programs, evaluating worker exposure to hazardous chemicals and physical hazards, conducting worker training programs and managing all aspects of hazardous materials management including asbestos, lead-based paint, PCBs in building materials, radon and indoor air quality/mold. He spent approximately three years with Western Electric Company at their Engineering Research Center followed by three years conducting compliance audits ( over 250 audits) for the U. S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration, eight years with General Electric Company and the past 28 years in the consulting arena.
