IRVINE, CA-An established southern Califorina architectural firm has added to two seasoned professionals to head its interior and landscape design teams.
BALTIMORE, M-MIE Properties Inc. is building a $40 million technology park near BWI. The 612,000 sf park is slated for completion in five years. The first building, 80,000 sf, is slated for completion in June.

OAKLAND, CA-The property along Mandela Parkway has been boarded up since 1989, when Nestle Corp. bought the ice cream manufacturer operating out of the building there and consolidated its operations.
CHARLOTTE-The first draft that would refurbish about one quarter of the center city is off the drawing board. The plan has the old city hall building as its focal point and suggests opening the landmark to private enterprise. But some who have seen the plan are already objecting to the great amount of space set aside for parking spaces.
