PHOENIX-A California investor has purchased for $4.7 million a mobile home park in central Tucson.
The partnership, Villa Capistrano LLC, is headed by principal Turk Austin and based in Huntington Beach, CA. It acquired the Silverlakes Estate Mobile Home Park.
The park has 212 spaces at 1325 W. Silverlake Rd., about a half mile west of Interstate 10. The seller is Tropic Investments, a group based in the suburb of Glendale that is headed by Jan Hinton.
Tropic has owned the development for 31 years. The Tucson office of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Brokerage Co. represented both parties in the transaction.
