Hilton is said to planning to build a 150-unit hotel flying the Hampton Inn & Suites flag in the Crystal City section of Arlington.
The parking lot at 2000 Jefferson Davis Highway reportedly will be transformed into a hotel by October 2001, but Hampton officials have not confirmed the project.
The Washington metro area has room for more hotels, particularly the limited service Hampton Inns, according to hotel industry officials.
