AUSTIN-Vignette Corp., based in Austin, has opened an office in Reston, Va., after adding four government agencies to its expanding list of federal customers.
The company, which supplies e-business applications, recently has been included in the government's General Service Administration's Federal Supply Schedule. With that endorsement, four government agencies have signed on with Vignette: National Science Foundation, Army Air Force Exchange Service, US Navy and US Department of Defense.
The Reston office, located at 12120 Sunset Hills Rd., consists of 6,000 sf that will house 13 employees. A Vignette source told GlobeSt.com that the company expects to expand the location. Vignette powers more than 1,150 leading e-businesses and has offices throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia.
