ORLANDO-Global International Investments Inc., a major player in Osceola County industrial projects near the 30,000-acre Walt Disney World empire, plans to break ground on a new headquarters building this quarter in the SouthPark section of Orlando Central Park, the area's oldest and largest business park.

Global paid Orlando Central Park Inc. $260,000 or about $240,740 per acre ($5.40 per sf) for a 1.08-acre parcel. Charles Huang, Global's broker/managing partner, negotiated for his firm. J. Gary Castle of Castle Commercial Realty represented the park.

Global's corporate neighbors will be T&G Construction which has broken ground on a 15,000-sf, $865,000 office/warehouse, and International Planning, a worldwide tour and language interpreting firm. SouthPark is the newest of three business parks comprising the 4,500-acre, 370-company Orlando Central Park.
