HOUSTON-Nutron Manufacturing Inc., a Houston-based valve manufacturer for the oil industry, has leased 12,188 sf at 4464 W. 12th St. in northwest Houston near the Texas 290 and Loop 610 intersection.
A company source tells GlobeSt.com the industrial space will be used for distribution purposes. Nutron has offices at Greenway Plaza in Houston. Thad Hickman and Tyndall Yaap with Grubb & Ellis Co.'s Houston office have represented Nutron. Building owner ProLogis has used in-house broker Drew Beeson to negotiate the pact.
In another industrial lease, Texas Market Tire Inc., which does business as Big State Tire Supply, has signed for 5,809 sf at Northbelt Service Center I. The warehouse is located at 15401 Vantage Parkway near Beltway 8 and Greens Road in Aldine, a northern suburb of Houston.
Leigh Anne Ahr of Moody Ramblin Interests has represented the building owner, Praedium II Star Two LP in the lease negotiations. Bill Ginder of Caldwell Watson Real Estate Group has acted on the tenant's behalf. The Lubbock, TX-based Big State Tire Supply distributes tires, wheels and tire-related tools to mechanic shops.
