Laptop Lane has opened its latest "office at the airport" there, in an effort to help business and leisure travelers read and respond to e-mail, retrieve documents from their corporate networks, get the latest news via the Internet, make and receive phone calls, send faxes or put the finishing touches on a business presentation. All of this can be accomplished in a Laptop Lane private office while awaiting flights or passenger arrivals.

"Seattle is a very tech-savvy town, and there's been a lot of demand for our services here. So we're very pleased to be able to expand our reach to another part of the airport," Adrian van Haaften, CEO of Laptop Lane said in announcing the news. "One advantage of the new location is that it is inside the security checkpoint, making it easier for passengers to go right from their'office at the airport' to their departure gate."

The new Laptop Lane has seven ergonomically designed private offices, each with high-speed (T-1) Internet access with laptop connections, a powerful desktop PC, printer, fax machine and telephone. Laptop Lane is also a convenient place for meetings.
