The buyer, On Line Communications, will relocate from San Dimas to the 27,603-sf Upland facility. The building stands at 545 College Commerce Way in College Commerce Center.
On Line, which specializes in the installation and engineering of telecommunications equipment, will utilize the building to house its corporate offices, as well as its engineering and warehouse operations. It is slated to move into the College Commerce location in September.
On Line was represented by Randy Lockhart of Grubb & Ellis' Ontario office. The seller, Upland College Commerce Center LLC, was represented by Rick Nunez of Colliers Seeley.
The Inland Empire continues to attract industrial tenants, even in the face of a sluggish economy. Its inexpensive rents offer an attractive incentive for manufacturers who are looking to cut costs as they struggle with high utility bills and a shaky economy.
