Built in two phases during the 1970s and 1980s, the retail complex stands on a 3.3-acre parcel at 301 State College Blvd. Encompassing 50,200 sf, it is fully occupied. Tenants include Linder Furniture, the Recycler and L.A. Carpet.
"Legacy Business Center is a hybrid center that has had special appeal to the furniture sector and related businesses," says Greg Wohl, chairman and CEO of Irvine-based Wohl Investment Co.
Both Wohl Investment and the seller, Irvine-based Legacy Partners, were represented by Alan Buchanan of Lee & Associates' Orange office.
Established in 1985, Wohl Investment specializes in repositioning under-performing commercial real estate. Since its creation, the company has repositioned more than 2.8 million sf of industrial, retail and office space. The company currently owns and manages around 1.6 million sf of commercial real estate in Southern California.
