SAN FRANCISCO-Several developers have gained approval for senior and assisted living housing projects in Northern California.
Bridge Housing Corp. plans to build a 31,000-sf, three-story apartment complex that will provide 40 units of senior housing on a one-acre site. The Chestnut Creek Senior Housing complex will be located on Chestnut Avenue and Mission Road in South San Francisco. The project is valued at $3.5 million.
Simpson Housing Solutions will break ground on a new senior apartment complex at Redwood and Sacramento Streets in Vallejo early next year. The project will be called Solano Vista II Senior Apartments.
Sunrise Assisted Living, Inc. plans to build a $6 million, assisted living facility at Sunset and Hazel Streets in Fair Oaks. The Sunrise Assisted Living Center is a 45,000-sf, two-story building with 59 assisted living units.
An old theater building in San Francisco may be renovated into the Goldman Institute Senior Housing Complex if Bridge Housing's plans are approved. There is no word on the size, scope or exact location at this time.
