NEW YORK CITY-Law Firm Bondy & Schloss LLP will move into new digs at the Lincoln Building. The firm has signed a 10-year lease for a full floor and will occupy the space beginning in March.
The corporate and civil practice, currently located at 605 E. 43rd St., will move into 12,058 sf at the 55-story tower and will be the building's 126th law firm tenant. Located at 60 E. 42nd St. with direct access to Grand Central Terminal, the Lincoln Building is currently undergoing a $30-million renovation.
“We wanted to stay near Grand Central,” says John Catterson, a partner with Bondy & Schloss. “And with this move, we'll be able to consolidate our offices onto one floor, instead of the two we now occupy.”
Helmsley-Spear Inc. is the managing and leasing agent for the asset, which has been owned by Lincoln Building Associates, a partnership led by Peter L. Malkin, for nearly 50 years. Kevin Driscoll, the building's general manager, represented both the owner and the tenant in the transaction. Lease terms were not disclosed.
