CYPRESS, CA-Bravo Tech, a company that manufactures amplifiers for cell sites, has inked a 62-month for industrial space in Cypress.

The company, which is relocating from Los Alamitos, will take 22,830 sf at the newly leased building. Located at 6185 Phyllis Dr., the facility is also occupied by Foxconn and GTECH. Although terms of the agreement were not disclosed, space at the facility is currently being leased for around $0.78/sf triple-net.

Bravo Tech was represented by Samuel Chu of the Anaheim office of CB Richard Ellis. Patrick Remolacio of Colliers Seeley's Anaheim office acted on behalf of the lessor, Cypress Land Co.

More industrial space users may be inking new leases in the months ahead, as a Chapman University report says the manufacturing sector has entered into recovery mode. The university's Composite Index, which is used to measure manufacturing activity in the county, jumped sharply from 35.6 in the fourth quarter of 2001 to 56.3 in the first quarter of 2002. These figures signal the end of a recession and the start of a recovery, as any value of more than 50 indicates growth for the sector.
