DENVER-Pinnacol Assurance, one of Colorado's major insurance companies, has moved into its brand-new 140,000-sf office building at the former Lowry Air Force Base, which is now its new headquarters. It will initially employ 500 in the building, making it the largest employer in the mixed-use Lowry Business Park.

The new building increases the company's usable space by nearly 10,000 sf feet, with a flexible layout that Pinnacol says is conducive to the its team-based atmosphere. “Our number-one priority is meeting our customers' and employees' needs as well as the demands of our growing business,” said Gary Pon, president and CEO of Pinnacol. “The operational efficiencies our new building provides will help to meet these needs.”

“This new facility will enable Pinnacol Assurance to save an estimated $500,000 per year compared to continuing to rent space,” added Jeff Tetrick, CFO of Pinnacol. “The new space, coupled with the anticipated savings, will allow us to continue providing top-quality service and care for all of our policyholders, business partners and employees.”
