HOUSTON-Less than two years after signing for 46,197 sf at 11850 Hempstead Highway, Los Angeles-based Emser Tile is expanding with a long-term signing for a 112,000-sf warehouse in the northwest corridor.

Emser will be relocating its southwest regional distribution center to the Fairbanks Industrial Park at 9835 Genard Rd. Pollard Gallipp of the Cypressbrook Co. in the Woodlands represented Emser in the lease negotiations. The firm supplies ceramic tiles and natural stone for construction projects such as malls, hotels, educational facilities and other large commercial projects.

The 22-year-old building is owned by Chicago-based First Industrial Realty Trust. The 27%-occupied warehouse has 471,370 sf, with outside storage and rail service. Troy MacMane was First Industrial's in-house representative for bargaining.
