PHILADELPHIA-Locally based Binswanger/CBB names Valerie B. Bowman, a 16-yearveteran of commercial real estate, VP of advisory services inits headquarters office here. She will be responsible for oversight andmanagement of major accounts and also work on business development for theadvisory group.

Her experience encompasses both office and retail leasing. Most recently,she was with the locally based office of Cushman & Wakefield as national accountmanager for the General Service Administration and NovaCare Rehabilitation,Inc. As such, she supervised 13 assignments for GSA and performed portfolioand transaction management for the more than 600 leased properties in theNovaCare portfolio.

Prior to working for C&W, Bowman was with Columbia, MD-based Rouse Co. whereshe was a specialty leasing manager for several of that company's regionalshopping centers, including the Gallery at Market East in Center City, Exton Square and Plymouth Meeting Mall in their respective suburban towns.
