The open-air shopping center, located on a 10-acre parcel, is anchored by Walgreens and recently added tenants including Little Einstein's Preschool & Learning Center, Gamers' and Million Dollar Nails. About 59,000 sf is available for lease in the center, which is scheduled to open in summer 2008.
"We expect continued growth within West Sunset Square's market area," says Woolbright president Duane Stiller. "That means there is a need here for new retailers and consumer services to better serve this thriving community."
Woolbright acquired the center due to the strong population growth in Kendall and western Miami over the past five years. The property is situated on a prime retail corner, enhanced by the extension of SW 157th Ave., which completes the north-south thoroughfare and broadens the trade area for the center.
"West Sunset Square serves neighborhoods of young, growing families, so our plans for the center will be focused on their needs," Stiller says.
