GOLETA, CA-Network Hardware Resale has leased 98,828 square feet of office and warehouse space here. The company will move its corporate headquarters from 26 Castilian Dr. to 6500 Hollister Ave., where they have leased 41,228 square feet of office space.

They will also move their regional warehouse facility from 26 Castilian to 57,600 square feet of industrial space at 80 Coromar Dr. In terms of square footage, these transactions represent the South Coast’s largest office lease of the year and largest new industrial lease since 2005, according to a prepared statement.

Francois DeJohn, Steve Hayes and Kristopher Roth of Hayes Commercial Group represented NHR in both transactions. DeJohn tells GlobeSt.com that the company is not at liberty at this time to provide final transaction terms such as aggregate lease value, however he explains that 6500 Hollister Ave.’s asking rate is $1.65 NNN and 80 Coromar Dr.’s is $0.90 NNN.

Network Hardware Resale sells computer network hardware and, according to the company website, is the “world's leading provider of pre-owned, used and refurbished Cisco” products. Founded in 1986, the privately held company has more than 250 employees with offices in Amsterdam, Singapore, New York and London. In addition to selling new inventory, their primary business is acquiring new-surplus or used equipment, putting it through extensive performance testing, and then selling it with their own warranty.

Having grown to approximately $200 million in worldwide revenue, NHR needed more space on the South Coast. “They were committed to keeping their corporate headquarters in Goleta,” says DeJohn. “6500 Hollister Ave. provided a larger, higher quality space and thanks to current market conditions the lease rates were lower than they would have been a few years ago.” For the industrial space, NHR decided to consolidate their warehouse centers in Dallas and Goleta into one larger facility at 80 Coromar Dr.

“NHR is a great success story of a local company that focuses on customer satisfaction and has grown into an international leader in the industry,” DeJohn adds. “These leases represent a clear vote of confidence in Goleta as a great place to run a large business.”
