IRVING, TX- Baylor Health Enterprises, an affiliate of Baylor Health Care System; Dallas-based Texas Oncology and US Oncology Network, a business unit of McKesson Specialty Health, have pinpointed the location of its new, 50,000-square-foot proton therapy center. The healthcare consortium selected the Irving/Las Colinas submarket for the $105-million project, with construction to launch in 2013.
Also announced during the past couple of weeks was that RTKL is the designer on the center, which will be located at 1501 W. Royal Lane. The center is scheduled for a 2015 opening.
“Our vision for this center is to create a facility that blends the most advanced cancer treatment technology with an environment of healing and compassion,” says Jim Johnson, RTKL Vice President in a press release.
