BOSTON—Almost a year to the day from when the Boston Housing Authority approved a project team to redevelop its Bunker Hill public housing development in Charlestown, the plan for the proposed $1-billion, 3,200-unit project is now before city and state agencies.

The Bunker Hill GP Venture LLC, a joint venture of Corcoran Jennison Associates and SunCal has filed an Environmental Notification Form with the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act Office and an Expanded Project Notification Form with the Boston Redevelopment Authority.

The BRA, now known as the Boston Planning and Development Agency, received the plans for the massive “One Charlestown” project on Sept. 27. The Boston Housing Authority selected the Corcoran Jennison-SunCal venture in early October 2015 to pursue the public housing redevelopment project.
