Bishop Ranch

SAN RAMON, CA—In an expansion that more than doubles Rodan + Fields' Bay Area footprint, the skincare company is headed to Bishop Ranch. The social commerce pioneer will be leasing 150,000 square feet of office space at 2600 Camino Ramon. The company's move is scheduled to take place in the first quarter of 2017. Financial terms of the lease were not disclosed.

“Rodan + Fields' expansion into the East Bay is the latest example of a company from another market recognizing the quality and value of the workplace environment at Bishop Ranch,” said Alexander Mehran Jr., president and COO of Sunset Development Company, which owns 2600 Camino Ramon, along with partner, MetLife. “Busy professionals are integrating work and life more than ever. Bishop Ranch offers a unique workplace with abundant amenities as well as close proximity to high-quality housing and schools at a reasonable price. At 2600, we have created an amenity hub that includes a conference center, fitness, high quality dining and numerous trail and watersports activities.”

Comprised of four interconnected buildings on a park-like 100-acre campus, 2600 is at the heart of Bishop Ranch. With its 1.8 million square feet of LEED Gold office space, it is the Bay Area's largest office building.

Bishop Ranch offers a full-service business community unique for the region. In addition to the buildings' green credentials, the spaces have been designed to foster the creativity and innovation that drive a successful business, says Sunset.

“The East Bay is becoming an increasingly popular location for tomorrow's workforce and Bishop Ranch offers a unique workplace with abundant amenities as well as close proximity to high quality schools and housing at a reasonable price,” Mehran tells GlobeSt.com. “We're thrilled to have an innovative and growing company like Rodan + Fields at Bishop Ranch.”

Steve Corbitt of The Axiant Group represented Rodan + Fields. Rodan + Fields will join a diverse mix of corporate neighbors such as SAP, BlackBerry, AT&T, PG&E, Bank of the West, GE Digital, 24 Hour Fitness, Paychex, FedEx and Sprint.

Beyond leasing activity, Bright Horizons at Bishop Ranch offers employer-sponsored childcare and early education. Roundhouse Market, slated to open this fall, will include a unique collection of dining options located in the center of 2600. Bishop Ranch has already added a conference center and year-round special events to Roundhouse, while a fitness pavilion is also in the works. Adding to the list of amenities, City Center Bishop Ranch, slated to open in fall 2018, will have 300,000 square feet of restaurants and retail around a one-acre piazza, designed by architect Renzo Piano.
