Fooda, a company specializing in “employee lunch solutions” saw the demand for a new approach to the proverbial mid-day meal. It partners with local restaurants to create office pop-ups that provide quality and—more importantly—exciting alternatives to the droll sandwich cart or first-floor cafeteria.

To find out more about Fooda and to better understand how changes in office culture drove this new concept, we sat down with Michael Schoenfeld, the Los Angeles director of Fooda. Here, he talks about the company's approach to lunchtime, why it only recently came to the Los Angeles market and its successful reception.
