Andy Stape and Vito Lupo of KLNB Retail represented the seller, Laburnum Square, LLC and procured the buyer, WHLR-Laburnum Square, LLC. Located at 4816 S. Laburnum Ave., the Kroger-anchored Laburnum Square was built in 1978 and was 100% leased at the time of the sale.
HUNT VALLEY, MD–HMS Insurance Assoc., has purchased 20 Wight Ave., a 77,000-square foot office building, which it has been occupying. The seller, Greenfield Partners, was represented by Dan Calihan of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services' Bill Whitty and Joe Bradley represented HMS.
NORFOLK, VA–Office Space & Solutions Managing Company, LLC has purchased 3700 Village Avenue located within Norfolk Industrial Park. The 150,000-square foot warehouse property sold for $5.4 million. Virginia Holding Corp. was the seller. Geoff Poston and Patrick L. Mumey of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer handled the sale on behalf of the seller.
CHESAPEAKE, VA–Graham Real Estate purchased 1.99 acres of land along 504 Kempsville Road from William Fentress for $765,000. It plans to build a self-storage facility there. Robert M. Thornton of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer handled the sale on behalf of the seller.
EASTON, MD–A 7,640-square foot mixed-use building in receivership in Downtown Easton has traded for $775,000. The buyer of the property, which is located at 216 East Dover St., was represented by Leo McDermott of Brexton Commercial in Baltimore, MD. SVN | Miller Commercial Real Estate Advisors Brent Miller and Tonney Insley helped handle the transaction. The listing was through a partnership with Tony Yousif with SVN | Asset Advisory Group in San Diego, CA. The new owner plans to re-tenant the vacant commercial units and hold it as a long-term investment.
ODENTON, MD–CoreLife is taking 3,485-square feet in an office located at 1350 Blair Dr., owned by Arrundel Crossing West, LLC. Kate Jordan and Marley Welsh of Lee & Assoc. Chesapeake, represented the landlord. Arrundel Crossing West consists of three one-story office/flex/industrial buildings developed in 1992. The total project size is 125,421-square-feet.
