ROSSLYN, VAMonday Properties has announced that Evan Dreilinger joined the company as SVP, General Counsel. In this newly created role, Dreilinger will oversee all legal matters for the company. Prior to joining Gramercy, Dreilinger was an associate with Proskauer Rose in New York where, among other assignments, he represented Boston Properties in their $4 billion acquisition of the General Motors Building and 3 additional buildings from Macklowe Properties in 2008.

DEAL TRACKER

WASHINGTON, DCMonument Realty has secured an equity investment for the seven-story, luxury high-rise building it is developing at 618 T St., NW, next to the Howard Theater. MAC Realty Advisors has placed $13.75 million in development capital, sourced from a privately owned, global investor. The project, called Ellington Plaza, will have 65 luxury condominium units and ground floor retail. It is expected to deliver next year. MAC fielded interest from a number of investors, according to Senior Director Nick Rubenstein.

“618 T St., NW, will stand out in the Shaw neighborhood,” said Michael Darby, Principal of Monument Realty in a prepared statement. “The project will offer residents the best of DC, while also delivering best in class unit designs and finishes.”

WASHINGTON, DCGreysteel has opened its first Colorado office in Denver. Industry veterans Ryan Floyd and Scott Whitfield have joined Greysteel to spearhead the company's expansion in the region. Floyd will serve as Senior Director and is charged with leading a Denver team focused on arranging sales and financing for institutional, middle market, and private client multifamily properties throughout the Front Range Corridor. Whitfield has joined as Director and will focus primarily on private capital multifamily transactions in the Denver Metro Area. Investment Associate Logan Wiltse has also joined the Greysteel Denver team.

ROCKVILLE, MDTranswestern has been retained by an affiliate of Equus Capital Partners to sell Metro Executive Park I and II at 15850 and 15800 Crabbs Branch Way. Gerry Trainor, of Transwestern's Mid-Atlantic Capital Markets Group, is the lead listing agent for the property, which totals 123,824 square feet. Metro Executive Park is 62% leased to 17 tenants, including a General Services Administration lease for the US Food and Drug Administration. Vacant space, totaling 34,622 square feet, includes a former bank branch with a drive-through.
