Here's a look at the trends, announcements and deals you may have missed at the mid-week point in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

NEWS AND NOTABLES

DALLAS—Tony Lenamon has been promoted to executive vice president and leader of CBRE's national apartment practice for valuation and advisory services. A seasoned industry veteran with more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience, Lenamon will coordinate more than 100 apartment specialists located in every major US market. In this newly created role, Lenamon will report to Richard West, executive managing director, VAS, CBRE.

DEAL TRACKER

AUSTIN, TX—Seda France Inc. leased 10,750 square feet at 9503 Brown Ln. in North Austin. The landlord was represented by Ryan Wilson and Matt Fain with ECR. Tenant was represented by Ron Meyeres with Capital Leasing.

AUSTIN, TX—Duo Security leased 8,464 rentable square feet at 804 Congress. The landlord was represented by Matt Levin and Jason Steinberg with ECR and the tenant was represented by Bre Brown and Jake Ragusa with JLL. This lease brings the building to 100% occupancy.

AUSTIN, TX—Partner Engineering leased 1,013 rentable square feet of office space at Centennial Towers, located at 505 E. Huntland. The landlord was represented by Jason Steinberg and Matt Levin with ECR.

AUSTIN, TX—Showa Chemicals leased 1,690 rentable square feet at 9101 Burnet. The landlord was represented by Jason Steinberg, Rebecca Zigterman and Matt Levin with ECR, and the tenant was represented by Burke Kennedy and David Gossett with CBRE.

DALLAS—Venture Commercial Real Estate is working with the owners of Spokane-based Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar to introduce its Regional American menu to North Texas diners. The first two Twigs Bistro restaurants will be in Fort Worth and The Colony. Bryan Cornelius, Larry Leon and Albert Hernandez represented Twigs in the negotiation of both leases. The 7,500-square-foot restaurant in The Colony will be located on State Highway 121 at Grandscape, the 433-acre mixed use development owned by Berkshire Hathaway and anchored by Nebraska Furniture Mart. An opening date is planned for early 2019. Steve Graham with Stellar Development represented the landlord.

DENVER—Oak Coast Properties has acquired a majority interest of Villas on 76th, a 384-unit workforce housing apartment complex. The current owner, Cherry Creek-based BMC Investments, will maintain a minority interest in the project. The $52.5 million deal is being financed by HFF. Oak Coast Properties will control a majority interest in the project while BLDG Management, an affiliate of BMC Investments, will retain management and continue to operate the property. This is the fifth investment partnership between Oak Coast Properties and BMC, and the sixth Oak Coast Properties management assignment for BLDG Management.

HOUSTON—NAI Partners recently represented 2H Offshore in a 31,792-square-foot office renewal at 15990 N Barkers Landing Rd. 2H Offshore delivers riser design and engineering services for all types of subsea risers for shallow water, deepwater and ultra-deepwater. Jon Silberman of NAI Partners represented the tenant, 2H Offshore, while the landlord, Banyan Street/GAP Timberway One Owner LLC was represented by Michelle Wogan and Monte Calvert of Transwestern during the negotiations.

HOUSTON—NAI Partners recently represented Schumann/Steier Inc. in a 3,352-square-foot office lease at 2000 West Loop South. Griff Bandy of NAI Partners represented the tenant, Schumann/Steier Inc. while the landlord, SRI Nine 2000 WL LP, was represented by Kevin Nolan and Bob Cromwell of Moody Rambin during the negotiations.

PEARLAND, TX—14800 Jersey Shore Drive LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of California based Bigge Crane & Rigging Co., has closed on the purchase and expansion of 322 and 324 Riley Rd., which consisted of nearly ±100,000 square feet of industrial office and manufacturing buildings on 14.85 acres of stabilized yard. Clay Pritchett of NAI Partners represented 14800 Jersey Shore Drive LLC. on both transactions while fellow NAI Partners broker Chris Caudill represented the seller of 322 Riley, JDI Ventures Inc. and John Bennett of Champions Real Estate Group represented the seller of 324 Riley, Martin L. Harrison.

SAN ANTONIO—Stream Realty Partners announces the sale of a 109,165-square-foot warehouse/distribution facility located in University Park in Northwest San Antonio. Jason Schnittger, managing director, Michael T. Kent, vice president and Kevin Cosgrove, senior associate of Stream Realty Partners–Central Texas LP represented the seller, First Industrial Realty Trust Inc., while Dan Gostylo and Seth Prescott of Providence Commercial Real Estate Services represented the buyer.

YUKON, OK—GBT Realty has announced three restaurants and a hotel for four of the seven outparcels at The Market at Czech Hall. Hooters, Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, Arby's and Sleep Inn have joined the 160,000-square-foot neighborhood center in this fast-growing suburb of Oklahoma City. Plans are for the restaurants and hotel to open throughout 2018. Only three outparcels and 6,000 square feet of shop space remain at the center located along I-40.
