FORT WORTH—Marcus & Millichap announces that Al Silva of the firm's Fort Worth office has been named as a senior managing director investments, according to Kyle Palmer, regional manager. Previously, Silva was a senior vice president investments. Silva specializes in multifamily property investments and is a senior director of Marcus & Millichap's National Multi Housing Group.
HOUSTON—The Association of Commercial Real Estate Professionals (ACRP) donated a portion of the proceeds from its two annual fundraisers to five local charities. The fundraisers included the 2016 Houston Commercial Real Estate Golf Classic hosted last November and the second annual ACRP Inshore Invitational Fishing Tournament held this past June. Celebrating its 30th year anniversary, this year's donation's totaled $30,000. Charitable recipients included Texas A&M College of Architecture Masters of Land and Property Development Program, University of Houston C.T. Bauer College of Business Graduate Real Estate Program, Combat Marine Outdoors, Galveston Bay Foundation and the ACE Mentor program.

FRISCO, TX—JLL announces the successful negotiation of a new office lease on behalf of Aegis Therapies Inc. The rehabilitation and wellness service company secured a new 6,994-square-foot office in Hall Park, located at 2601 Network Blvd. JLL managing director Steve Thelen negotiated the lease on behalf of the tenant. HALL Park's Brad Gibson, Cynthia Cowen and Kim Butler represented the owner, HALL Group.
HOUSTON—NAI Partners' industrial group recently arranged the sale of 11811 Tanner Rd., a 13,230-square-foot industrial warehouse. John Ferruzzo and Nick Peterson of NAI Partners represented seller Herman Allen Stuart during the negotiations. The buyer was BRADY Investments LLC, represented by Mark Lehman and Nathan Rodriguez of Centermark Real Estate.
HOUSTON—NAI Partners recently arranged a 33,000-square-foot industrial sale on 2.65 acres, located at 6922 and 6930 La Paseo. NAI Partners' Chris Caudill of the company's industrial group represented seller, Mitas Tower, and Nabil Murad with NM Management LLC represented buyer, Radwan A-Z LLC, during the negotiations.
LAS CRUCES, NM—HREC Investment Advisors arranged the sale of the 101-suites Marriott SpringHill Suites. The buyer is a California-based investor that owns and operates a hotel portfolio throughout the Southwest under major brands including Marriott and Hilton. Mike Armstrong, principal in the San Diego office, exclusively represented the private seller during the transaction.
SAN ANTONIO—JLL's Capital Markets secured acquisition financing for two multifamily communities on behalf of REEP Equity. Fannie Mae provided the loans for Atrium Commons and Stratton Park. Managing director Mark Brandenburg and vice president CW Sheehan led the JLL team on the financing.
SAN ANTONIO—Transwestern has been retained by Velocis to provide leasing and property management services for Legacy Oaks Medical Plaza, a 224,262-square-foot complex at 5360–5430 Fredericksburg Rd. Legacy Oaks consists of seven recently renovated buildings and is currently 75% leased to a mix of health care providers including Baptist Health System, MEDNAX, BB&T and the Center for Healthcare Services.
SUGAR LAND, TX—Holliday Fenoglio Fowler LP announces the sale of Two Sugar Creek Center, a 143,410-square-foot class-A office building. The HFF team represented the seller, TA Realty, and procured the buyer, Velocis. The property was sold free and clear of debt. Located at 77 Sugar Creek Blvd., Two Sugar Creek Center is positioned on 7.55 acres just one block from Dairy Ashford Road and less than a mile from the Interstate 69 and US 90 interchange.
THE WOODLANDS, TX—The Howard Hughes Corporation, and its wholly owned subsidiary The Woodlands Development Company, are hosting The Woodlands Wildflower Festival at its new location–Hughes Landing. Now in its 30th year, The Woodlands Wildflower Festival will take place on November 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a free concert following from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
