No one can deny the impact the e-commerce industry has had on the retail properties. Landlords and investors of retail properties are constantly on the lookout for creditworthy tenants who can also consistently draw foot traffic to their properties.

And in the healthcare industry, “In today's fast paced world, hospitals and doctors, strive to provide the right care, at the right time, in the right place and at an affordable price that is relevant to the patient/customer,” says Ross J. Caulum, assistant VP of corporate real estate and corporate director of construction at Scripps Health, who will speak at the upcoming RealShare Healthcare conference in Scottsdale, AZ.

Caulum explains that accomplishing this requires bringing together complex disciplines to deliver the compassionate expert care needed. “Sometimes the place is a hospital, other times a traditional clinic, and now the place is evolving to be retail locations and various forms of electronic visits that the patient/customer want from their healthcare provider,” he tells GlobeSt.com.

Caulum will further discuss the expansion of medical and healthcare facilities into retail space at the event. But are all medical and healthcare services suited to every available retail vacancy? Learn the answer to that question and more at the RealShare Healthcare event, which will bring together more than 400 of the industry's top owners, investors, developers, brokers and financiers as they gather and share their insight and outlooks for the marketplace for the Healthcare event of the year.

Also, keep an eye for the upcoming November/December issue of Real Estate Forum, where we five deeper into legislative issues and future of the sector.
