DENVER—Savills Studley has released its 2017 fourth quarter edition of the Savills Studley Office Market Report. Highlights of the report include steady leasing in 2017, lower availability rates, slightly increased rental rate and decreased sales volume.
HOUSTON—According to NAI Partners Quarterly retail report, fundamentals are showing resilience, construction will maintain current pace in 2018 and the food hall trend is gaining speed in Houston.

DENVER—Transwestern's Denver office announces Whitney Hake has joined the firm as senior vice president-agency leasing. Prior to joining Transwestern, Hake spent seven years at Cushman & Wakefield, where she most recently served as director and negotiated more than 300 transactions, totaling more than 2 million square feet.
HOUSTON—A 28-year Houston industrial brokerage veteran, Gray Gilbert, has joined NAI Partners as a partner in the company's industrial services group. Gilbert comes to NAI Partners from CBRE.
HOUSTON—Transwestern Investment Group announces Blake Williams has joined the firm as managing director-healthcare properties. In this role, he will lead the efforts of TIG and Transwestern Development Company to acquire and develop healthcare properties across the US, with a focus on integrating the firm's investment and development platforms for comprehensive execution strategies. Williams spent 15 years at Hines Interests LP, where he most recently served as managing director
HOUSTON—Lee & Associates-Houston announces that Thomas Leger, principal, received his Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designation. Leger specializes in industrial leasing and industrial sales, representing owners, buyers or investors, as well as design-build and build-to-suits, focusing primarily on manufacturing and distribution properties over the Greater Houston area. Prior to working at Lee & Associates, Leger held a senior broker position at TNRG for more than six years.
HOUSTON—CBRE announced that Steve Lewis has been promoted to lead the firm's newly created student housing practice for valuation and advisory services. as student housing practice leader, Lewis will coordinate and develop a team of valuation and advisory specialists across the US with the aim of developing the platform nationally. Based in Houston, Lewis will report to R. Christian Sonne, executive vice president and national director of Specialty Practice, VAS, and Micah Beck, senior managing director and South Central Division leader, VAS.
SAN ANTONIO—Commercial Real Estate Women of San Antonio (CREW) announces 11 women were appointed to the board of directors, which will be led by president Dena Welch in 2018. Welch and other members of the 2018 board officially took office this month. BEE CAVE, TX—HFF announces the sale of Park Manor at Bee Cave, a 140-bed, post-acute skilled nursing community. The HFF team marketed the property on behalf of the seller, Meridian Realty Advisors. The HFF investment advisory team included senior director David Fasano along with senior managing directors Ryan Maconachy and Chad Lavender.
BOULDER, CO—CBRE announced the first companies joining the recently opened Boulder Commons located at 2440 and 2490 Junction Place. Boulder Commons is the first net-zero energy commercial project in Boulder County. CBRE's Erik Abrahamson, Jeremy Kroner and Joe Faller are serving as leasing agents on Boulder Commons.
CONROE, TX—NAI Partners Industrial Group recently arranged a 14,732-square-foot lease of industrial space at 13019 Crockett Martin Rd., for tenant KRO Energy Products. NAI Partners' Jake Wilkinson and Darren O'Conor of the company's Industrial group represented landlord, Tee Total Engineering Expectations Inc., during the negotiations. The tenant was represented by Kyle Fischer with Belvoir Real Estate Group.
DALLAS—JLL announced the successful negotiation of two office extensions for broadband solutions company, Oceus Networks Inc. The company has extended the leases for its corporate office in Legacy Town Center III, located at 5801 Tennyson Pkwy. in Plano, and its operations center at the Cascades at The Colony, located at 5916 Stone Creek Dr. in The Colony. JLL managing director Steve Thelen and associate Scott Hage negotiated each lease extension on behalf of the tenant. CBRE's Dennis Barnes, Alexandra Cullins and Jackie Marshall represented Legacy Town Center's ownership, KBS, and Transwestern's Nathan Durham and Joe Whitmer represented Cascades at the Colony's ownership group, Cascades by Windsor 1 LLC.
FRISCO, TX—The Boulder Group has completed the sale of a single tenant net leased 7-Eleven property located at 11065 Main St. for $5.29 million. 7-Eleven has successfully operated at this located since 2001 due to its strategic neighborhood location in one of Dallas' more densely populated neighborhoods. Randy Blankstein and John Feeney of The Boulder Group represented the seller in the transaction, an East Coast based real estate fund. The purchaser was a West Coast-based investor.
GARLAND, TX—Weitzman has negotiated the sale of an 8,000-square-foot single-tenant net-leased retail property located at 1130 N. Country Club Rd. The purchaser is a locally based individual investor, and the seller was a limited partnership. David Zoller and Jon Redmond with Weitzman handled negotiations. The building, located near downtown Garland and in proximity to the President George Bush Turnpike and SH-78, is occupied by Family Dollar.
LITTLETON, CO—Transwestern's Denver office announces the sale of a flex property totaling 42,380 square feet at 8022 Southpark Circle. The property was sold to an undisclosed buyer. Transwestern's Brad Cohen, Larry Thiel, Cori Helms and Lauren Quiram represented the seller, GCCFC 2005-GG5 South Revere Industrial LLC in the disposition.
