NEW YORK CITY--The professional association, CREW-New York, hosted a networking luncheon on Feb. 6, at 101 Park Ave. Beth Haider, chief sustainability officer at Skanska, an international project development and construction group, provided the keynote presentation. She emphasized the long-term environmental damage caused by buildings. However, Haider also highlighted the business interests in reducing risks and liability by strategic planning, design and construction. This photo slideshow captures a few of the moments from the event. All photos are by Howard Wechsler, Wex Photo, unless otherwise indicated.
