SAN CLEMENTE, CA-The 16,997-sf facility has been snatched up by Kobot International, as sales activity remains healthy in the county's industrial sector. Small and mid-sized industrial buildings across the county have been selling at a steady pace in recent weeks.
LOS ANGELES-The 118,947-sf building has been snatched up by a real estate partnership, as the vacancy rate countywide has dropped into the low single digits. It is expected that demand will continue to outpace supply, as there is little space available for additional development.
LOS ANGELES-Principals of the nationwide video game distributor, JB Marketing, have paid nearly $1 million for the industrial facility. Located on a half-acre parcel, the building will allow JB to expand its headquarters and its warehousing operations.
IRVINE, CA-A 10-year lease has been inked by Tustin-based Scantron Corp. The company will take 110,000 sf at a 126,000-sf Irvine Spectrum building. The move will allow for growth of its Scanning and Surveys divisions.
BREA-The locally based manufacturer of instrument parts will commence groundbreaking on its future Temecula site in two weeks. The company will relocate to the facility upon its expected completion in March 2002.
ORANGE COUNTY-The El Toro airport proposal now has the official backing of the five-member Planning Commission, as it voted three to two to recommend approval of the airport plan to the Orange County Board of Supervisors.
ANAHEIM, CA-Royal has paid $3.6 million for the property, which is located in Moreno Valley. The deal comes as sales activity continues to swell in the Inland Empire's multifamily market.<p>
LOS ANGELES-The 15,120-sf retail space is located in Van Nuys. It has been sold to Santa Monica-based First Avenue Realty and marks another recent retail sale in the area.
