LOS ANGELES-The 330,000-sf office complex just north of the Ventura Freeway and east of Lindero Canyon Road opens at 60% occupancy. Tenants include homestore.com, Thorston & Associates Insurance Services and Genuity Solutions Inc.
SANTA ANA-The 94,988-sf R&D building sits on a 6.5-acre site and is fully leased to two tenants. Horizon took 60,000-sf in the Essex Corporate Center and after construction was completed. Hirsch Electronics signed a lease for the remaining space.
HUNTINGTON BEACH-The 45-acre, $18 million project has been approved in a vote of four to two. City officials can now begin soliciting bids from contractors who want to build the complex.
ANAHEIM-Voit Development Co. has snatched up the 340,000-sf, nine-building complex here in a deal valued at $7.4 million. The seller was Black & Decker Co., which purchased Kwikset Corp. in 1989.
LOS ANGELES-Optical Communication Products Inc. pays $18.7 million to privately held Toibb Elins Properties for 142,000 sf of office and industrial space in Warner Center area.
LOS ANGELES-The 317-unit luxury multifamily development was severely damaged by the 1994 Northridge earthquake. The loan will pay for major repairs that were made to the cooperative development.
SANTA ANA, CA-The Mexican state is the most recent occupant of the international business center. Ten Mexican states already occupy the center, which was opened by Mexican President Vicente Fox in March.
LOS ANGELES-A company planning a 240,000 sf industrial park acquires the 10.5-acre property in Vernon. Demolition has begun for the three-building project, which is scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2002.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA-The motorcycle giant signs $4.8-million lease for 175,300 sf of warehouse space in Ontario, leaving its old Irvine digs in the dust. Separately, a toy and novelty company announces move into the Panattoni Development complex too.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA-Dayle McIntosh Center for the Disabled signs seven-year lease valued at $1.5 million for 20,460 sf of office space and will relocate from Anaheim.
