On the Chicago-based REIT's Q3 earning call, Ventas's Debra Cafaro, CEO and chairman, reveals that the portfolio did not receive the strong seasonal lift in occupancy that was expected.

The new lease agreement for 1776 G Street in Washington DC, has been extended through 2025.

The firm acquired 15 acres at Quantico Corporate Center, with plans to construct two flex industrial assets totaling 162,600 square feet.

The loan will finance the acquisition of 15 facilities, which will be managed by Mission Health Communities.

The 11-property portfolio consists of class-A communities located in Florida, Georgia and Nevada.

The newly created position is expected to assist the firm in nearly tripling its portfolio value to $30 billion by 2024.

The 450,000-square-foot property is situated within Charlotte's University City submarket.

The transaction was secured for a joint-venture portfolio by Sino-Ocean Capital and Meridian Senior Living.
