Mack-Cali reports it has sold two suburban office portfolios totaling approximately 2.4 million square feet in Parsippany and Madison, NJ to Onyx Equities.
The 15-year lease deal will allow CarGurus, which is currently headquartered across three offices in Cambridge, MA, to consolidate those operations into one Back Bay location.
"This portfolio offered the opportunity to buy a critical mass of medical assets with exposure to some of the top health systems in the country, including Advocate Aurora Health, Einstein Health and INOVA Health System," said Chris Bodnar, vice chairman of Capital Markets for CBRE.
The Fairfield, NJ-based commercial and real estate development firm completely renovated the 71,300-square-foot building with a new façade with enhanced energy performance including state-of-the-art lighting, glass curtain wall and computer-controlled extremely efficient heating and cooling systems.
Commercial brokerage firm NAI James E. Hanson reports that the 8,500-square-foot vacant Howell Elementary School building was sold by the Board of Education to buyer Michael Tzezairlidis.
Woodmont Parc consists of three-story elevator buildings, garages, and a clubhouse that features a large resident lounge, game room, theater room, heated swimming pool and expansive sun deck.
