ORLANDO-The Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks have postponed the scheduled November opening of the Tennessee singer's $25 million, 128,000-sf, 1,200-seat dinner theater in south Orlando to first quarter 2003.
ORLANDO-In the biggest sale-merger package of its kind in at least 25 years, the Jacksonville, FL firm has sold Arvida Real Estate Services subsidiary to NRT Inc., the parent of Coldwell Banker Residential. In a related deal, Coldwell Banker and Arvida merged and will operate under the Coldwell banner.
ATLANTA-The Oak Brook, IL-based REIT bought the second, newly constructed 103,007-sf phase of the 403,007-sf shopping center from Charlotte-based Faison-Sofran II Partnership No. 11 for $13.2 million. Inland paid $30 million ($100 per sf) for the first 300,000-sf phase in December 2001.
ORLANDO-The retirement home paid $2.1 million or about $48.20 per sf for a one-acre tract that formerly housed the Central Church of the Nazarene at 400 E. Church St in an area bounded by government and commercial offices.
MIAMI-The deals have an estimated aggregate value of $8 million. Ferrell Schultz Carter Zumpano & Fertel is expanding and taking 23,537 sf for 10 years at an estimated total rent of $7.53 million. Black, Srebnick & Kornspan is extending its 6,002-sf lease for another three years at an estimated rent of $576,192.
ORLANDO-Resort Condominiums International, a subsidiary of New York-based Cendant Corp., will provide branding and authorization in the global sale of vacation rental properties. eBay is based in San Jose, CA; Dynetech in Orlando.
MIAMI-The Pompano Beach, FL-based furniture distributor is taking another 20,000 sf for eight years at an estimated aggregate value of $2.24 million at the 105,487-sf, 14-year-old Sample 95 Business Park in Pompano Beach.
ATLANTA-The manager/developer of multifamily senior housing units has an offer from Salem Senior Housing to buy Diversified's Residential Properties Management firm and equipment for $950,000. Diversified's chairman/CEO William G. Benton controls Salem Senior Housing.
MIAMI-The 73-restaurant Roadhouse Grill Inc. of Pompano Beach, FL says it is restructuring because Orlando-based CNL Restaurant Properties Inc. refused to settle past-due invoices out-of-court as other creditors have done.
ORLANDO-The four-year-old, Memphis, TN-based vacation rental property management company will be marketing and managing the 543-unit, 31-story Tidewater Beach golf-front condominiums scheduled to break ground by summer in Panama City, FL, 250 miles northwest of Downtown Orlando.
