But in reality, Forbes Taubman Orlando LLC Millenia, the mall's developer, bought 83 acres from the mixed-use venture's master developer, Orlando Southwest Partners, for about $19 million or $228,915 per acre ($5.26 per sf), then deeded back two 13-acre parcels and an estimated nine-acre parcel to the retailers.
ORLANDO-The $76.18 per-sf price on the 2.29-acre prime parcel came in below the $100 per-sf level estimated by area professionals but equaled recent land prices in the central business district. GlobeSt.com reported the transaction Dec. 4 before the deal was recorded at Orange County real estate offices.
