POINCIANA, FL-Nursery Supplies Inc. of Chambersburg, Pa. is constructing a $4.5 million structure on a 25-acre site in the 1,200-acre Poinciana Industrial Park, Osceola County, about 20 miles south of Downtown Orlando. About 150 new local jobs will be available when the asset opens in February.
ORLANDO-CB Richard Ellis Inc. is earning a $400,000 fee for marketing the utility rainwater runoff site valued at an estimated $75 million or $227,272 per acre ($5.21 psf). Developers are salivating at the prospect of bidding on the dirt which will open a new commercial vista across tourist-heavy International Drive and the development-intense Lake Bryan area.

The estimated contract price is $3.22 million or about $2 psf. The park is zoned for 20 million sf of commercial.
ORLANDO-Central Florida companies closed on three of the top 15 second-quarter transactions in the state. Tantivy Communications of Melbourne led the pack, attracting $55 million.

ORLANDO-Orange County taxpayers will be paying half the cost of a $100 million Interstate 4 interchange that is largely in neighboring Osceola County where the bulk of Walt Disney World's 30,000-acre empire is located. But Orange County, which takes in metro Orlando, will be collecting at least $110 million a year in total property taxes from the theme park giant. That will more than cover the county's $51 million charge for the new road.
