MIAMI-Harper, a Coral Gables, FL-based architecture firm that grossed $8.9 million last year, has acquired the 20-person Donahue & Co. design firm of Boca Raton, FL for an undisclosed amount.

MIAMI-The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce is honoring the Coral Gables, FL developer Feb. 8 for his numerous contributions to the civic, social and development life of South Florida since 1980 when he started Codina Group Inc.

MIAMI-The Framington, MA-based general contractor expects to complete construction on the 294-unit La Posada in Palm Beach Gardens, FL by spring 2003. Greystone Communities Inc. of Irving, TX will plan and manage the project with its owner, Westport Senior Living.

MIAMI-Locally based Karlton Properties and the Athena Group of New York bought the 35-story, 399-unit property in south Miami Beach in June from Orlando developer Zom Inc. for $97.25 million or $243,734 per unit.
