LANHAM, MD-Prince George's County's Washington Business Park sells for $55 million to Bresler & Reiner, Inc. of Washington, DC. The Cohen Cos. LLC joins Bresler & Reiner in the joint venture purchase of the complex, which includes nine buildings of flex space and 79 acres of undeveloped land.

HANOVER, MD-Anticipating growth following the recent terrorist attacks, security products company CompuDyne Corp. is taking on additional space. The organization purchases a 75,000-sf building in Montgomery, AL for $3 million.

BETHESDA, MD-Joint venture partners the Meridian Group and Northwestern Mutual acquire the Shady Grove Executive Center. The five-building office complex offers 570,000 sf of space and is currently 99% occupied.

PEACHTREE CITY, GA-The only bidder for the project, building and contracting firm Group VI Corp. wins the job to build the Peachtree City Water and Sewerage Authority's new administrative offices. The project is expected to cost about $1.25 million.

BUCKHEAD, GA-Cost Plus World Market opens its fourth Atlanta-area outlet in an 18,000-sf space on Piedmont Road. The store is slightly larger than average World Market outlets, which usually offer about 16,000 sf of shopping space.

ALPHARETTA, GA- In a $55.5 million transaction, Moran & Company closes the sale of Fairfield Properties' Preserve at Deerfield. An undisclosed client of Invesco Realty purchases the 478-unit complex.
