PORTLAND-For $5.2 million, a group of investors that includes the principals of Seattle-based SeaMark Properties acquires the 50 unsold units at The Legends, an 80-unit condominium tower that was part of Capital Consultants' real estate portfolio.
PORTLAND-Company Principal Robert Scanlan tells GlobeSt.com that a pending zone change in the area around Northwest 23rd and West Burnside would up the height limit for his property, allowing for a condo tower on a developable lot that came with its $20-million purchase of the 47,000-sf center in June.

PORTLAND-Portland Hospital Service Corp., owned and operated by a consortium of local health organizations, breaks ground off Airport Way this week for a 68,000-sf building that will process 20 million pounds of healthcare textiles and linens each year.
PORTLAND-The developer of Marshall Wells Lofts acquires the warehouse and half of an adjacent block from Lehman Brothers, which in 2000 lent Fowler Flanagan the money to pay a whopping $14 million for the building and spend millions more on a "telco hotel" conversion that landed no tenants.
PORTLAND-The 86,000-sf flex project by Pacific Santa Fe Corp. got underway in August. Shell completion is slated for mid-spring 2003. Cushman & Wakefield had the pre-construction leasing assignment. No tenants have been signed.
PORTLAND-The national engineering firm is moving from 31,000 sf in the middle of the building to 41,000 sf on the top three floors of the 15-story Downtown building. KPMG, which is subleasing the top floor from Arthur Andersen until next summer, also is looking for space to expand and consolidate operations.
