DALLAS-The prominent Winstead, Sechrist & Minick law firm signs its 13th lease at the class-A Renaissance Tower. The 168,648-sf renewal is one of the largest leased spots in the 1.7-million sf office tower.

DALLAS-Andersen Consulting, due for a name change come January 2001, is opening its 26th business center worldwide at Dallas' Infomart, marking the firm's fifth metroplex location. The center will service North Texas, Austin and Houston.

DALLAS-An old concept with a new twist is sparking two multifamily projects with panoramic downtown views. CLB Partners nears completion on a $14-million flagship high-rise while forging ahead on a $25-million sister project.

DALLAS-F.Y.I. Inc has expanded its lease by 24,000 sf at the class-A One McKinney Plaza, located at 3232 McKinney Ave. in the CBD. The firm will now occupy 34,105 sf of the 257,3280-sf property.

DALLAS-It's been a very good year for Turner Corp., and it's going to get better. The Dallas-based firm is predicting a record high of $5.7 billion in the value of new contracts by year's end.

AUSTIN-Whole Foods is unloading an investment while prepping for some serious store openings in new markets. Pittsburgh, Toronto, Santa Monica, CA and Portland, OR are the latest to be added to the Whole Foods' pipeline.

AUSTIN-In a market where space is at a premium, area brokers have found 49,245 sf of office and industrial space for 11 clients. With one exception, all recent leases fall into the 6,000-sf and under category.

DALLAS-Realty Capital has signed Kennedy-Wilson as its exclusive leasing agent for a 35,000-sf spec office project in Plano. The two-story building will come to market in August 2001.
