PHOENIX-A group of Scottsdale investors now hold the title to an 880,000-sf distribution center, once housing Revlon, and adjacent acreage with the potential for 350,000 sf of development. The properties are located in the West Valley.

TUCSON-The Marshall Foundation is eyeing an October groundbreaking on a $17-million, 115,000-sf building for office and retail. And, the foundation is in talks to sell or lease part of its holding along N. Park Avenue for a $9-million theater project.
SCOTTSDALE, AZ-Discount Tire's 150,000-sf headquarters, set to break ground in August, sets the stage for a consolidation of five Valley offices. The Opus West project will deliver by October 2002.
PHOENIX-Orsett Properties is rocking and rolling at a 40-acre mixed-use site. Another five pad sites, valued at $3.27 million, have been sold to restaurants while takers are lining up for a spot in a 103,000-sf flex office building.
PHOENIX-As expected, Gov. Jane Hull has vetoed a contractors bill. With days left in the session, it's unlikely that an override vote can be passed. For contractors, it means they are subject to an extra 0.6% sales tax for last year's deals.
TEMPE, AZ-Tosco's 170,000-sf new building is up for grabs, with brokers now looking for tenants. A company takeover by Phillips Petroleum means it's just extra space.
