SCOTTSDALE, AZ-Westcor Partners can rest easy. Macy's is stepping to take over a 250,000-sf spot vacated in January by Sears at the Scottsdale Fashion Square. It marks the fifth Valley store for Macy's and its seventh in Arizona.

PHOENIX-The 483,000-sf, 90%-occupied Viad Corporate Center has a new taskmaster. Dallas-based Trammell Crow's Phoenix team has wrested the leasing and management pact from Cushman & Wakefield of Arizona.

MESA, AZ-A Colorado couple put up $2.1 million or $46,666 per unit for the Sunland North Apartments, a 45-unit holding in Mesa. A private investor from Fountain Hills, AZ is the seller in the deal structured by a Marcus & Millichap broker.

PHOENIX-Atlantic Development of Hartford, CT has put up $2.5 million for an older apartment complex in an area struggling with revitalization. Phoenix investor Frank Soris is the seller of the 85-unit Quiet Village Apartments in the central part of town.

PHOENIX-The FAA extends a comment period for two more weeks on the $375-million Arizona Cardinals stadium in Tempe. The FAA sets Oct. 22 to release its final report on safety issues of the site's impact on nearby Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix.
