DETROIT-Despite the widespread closing of assembly plants that will result in the loss of 25,000 jobs, GM is planning a $10 million vehicle testing facility in Milford. The new facility, which will open in late 2006, will initially conduct 120 to 150 tests a year with the capacity for more.

DETROIT-According to a recent report, developers are on track to deliver 60% more sf to the Detroit area retail market in 2005. Strip centers continue to be a popular investment, with the median price increasing 43% to $106 per sf over the past 12 months.
