SAN DIEGO-The San Diego City Council has agreed to purchase a parcel located at 215 Washington St. for the future site of the new Mission Hills/Hillcrest Branch Library.

WOODLAND HILLS, CA-The Warnerview office building was suffering from sagging occupancy after a law firm closed its doors, leaving the building 65% occupied. The building's new owner, however, is planning an aggressive marketing campaign and expects to put the property back on track at 85% occupancy within six months.

SAN DIEGO-Aardema Family Trust acquires the facility, which it plans to hold as an investment. Encompassing 55,450 sf, it stands at 4255 Ruffin Rd. in the Kearny Mesa area of the city.

SAN DIEGO-GE Asset Management, along with SENTRE Partners, has picked up the 20-story, high-profile office asset from a partnership involving a Koll Co. affiliate, Shapell Industries, and Goldrich & Krest.

SAN DIEGO-The global healthcare organization Project Concern International sells the property to Balboa Medical Services, which plans to use the space to house an ambulance service.

SAN DIEGO-A partnership of Layton-Belling & Associates sells the 8975 and 8985 Balboa Ave. facilities to Jack Henry & Associates Inc. The properties, which were previously occupied by Overland Storage, will now be used by Jack Henry subsidiary Symitar as office and technology space.

SAN DIEGO-Locally based H & F White Family LP picks up the apartment asset from MH Financial, also of San Diego, for $2.4 million. Known as French Quarters, the property is located on 30th Street in San Diego.

VISTA, CA-Carlanda LLC acquires the local complex, which is located at 246 Emerald Dr. Common amenities here include laundry facilities, a play area and a gated entrance.
