SAN DIEGO, CA-Another 77 apartment units and 17 motel rooms may be under way as soon as this September in the Little Italy neighborhood of Downtown, as developer Moe Siry has received design review approval from the Centre City Development Corp.'s board of directors for his Bayview Motel and Apartments project.

SAN DIEGO, CA-Principal Real Estate Investors acquires the four-building complex that is comprised of 353,067 sf of office and biotechnology space from AGRRI Seaview LLC, which is a partnership between The Shidler Group and Angelo, Gordon & Co. The seller had purchased the asset in April 2002 for $62.5 million and increased its occupancy by nearly 30% during its ownership.
ENCINITAS, CA-The Houston-based REIT pays $24.5 million for the asset, which is currently 100% leased. Seller ACF El Camino 02 LLC originally acquired the property in June 2002 for $16.9 million.
SAN DIEGO-Having secured design review approval from the Centre City Development Corp.'s board of directors, 5th Rock LLC is one step closer to turning its proposed Hard Rock Hotel project into a reality. The developer now has to garner approval from the San Diego City Council for a special permit allowing a height exception on the hotel of up to 125 ft.
